Welcome to our website!

The Team Rector, the Revd. Dr. Susan RamsaranA MESSAGE FROM THE TEAM RECTOR

Welcome to the North Tyne and Redesdale Team of parishes.  The Church is a body which exists for the benefit of people who are not its members!  We meet as a Church to worship God and go out to serve our neighbours.  We draw strength from Holy Communion which is celebrated in our churches at least every Sunday.  You are welcome to join in any of our worship at the services which are listed on this website.  Please also feel free to visit our church buildings at any time.  We hope you enjoy your time with us and in our beautiful surroundings.

The Revd Dr Susan Ramsaran

In these pages you will find information about our churches and their weekly services as well as some details of churches of other denominations in our area.

There is a statement of our Christian belief and we will also seek to help answer some of your questions of faith.

Details of our church services over the coming weeks are given below.

If there is any information you would like to see included in these pages, please let the Webmaster know.

".. and you will be my witnesses .... to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

Rev Brian Jones - webmasterThe Christian faith has been present in this north western part of Northumberland for over 800 years - possibly even back to the times of St. Aidan and St. Cuthbert. The example of our forebears in reaching out with the Good News of the Gospel has prompted us to join the technological age and utilise the world wide web in continuing that witness to 'the ends of the earth'.
